Dr. Silke A. Krawietz is a thought leader and advisor in strategy, foresight, innovation, and disruptive technologies, as well as a designer, architect, and author. With extensive experience in strategic planning and international networking among stakeholders and organizations, she specializes in technology and innovation aimed at achieving net-zero goals Her expertise includes evaluating multi-annual business plans in climate, innovation, energy, and sustainable urban development. Dr. Krawietz is a certified Biophilic Design Specialist, accredited by the International Living Future Institute (USA), and a registered architect with ARB and RIBA in London. She earned her PhD with Honours in BuildingIntegrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) from the Technical University (TU) of Darmstadt, Germany. She has served as an Interim Professor at the University of Catania and taught several Master’s courses at LUISS Business School and LUISS University in Rome, Italy. In 2010, Dr. Krawietz founded SETA Network, an international consultancy in strategy, innovation, and foresight based in London and Rome. Through this network, she collaborates with the Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction and serves as ViceChair of the Governing Board of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP) in Vienna. Her high-level network includes European institutions such as the European Commission, UN Environment, and UNESCO, among others. Dr. Krawietz is also an external evaluator for the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT InnoEnergy), recently assigned as rapporteur for evaluating business plans across climate, energy, and digital sectors with a collective budget of approximately €1 billion for 2023-2025. She is actively involved in climate finance as a member of the Coalition for the International Platform for Climate Finance (IPCF).
